This training is recommended for contract employees that require explosives certification as part of a government contract that includes ammunition or explosives operations. The course is designed for technicians, supervisors, managers, engineers, production personnel, inspectors, safety officials, support personnel, and proposal writers that are involved in development, production, assembly, disassembly, modification, testing or demilitarization of new and stockpiled ammunition, weapon systems, and explosives components, devices, and material. It emphasizes contractor responsibilities and safety requirements IAW the Contractor’s Safety Manual, DOD 4145.26-M.
